Getting around the second tower on the Spanish side.
About The Line
Starting at the Collada dels Estanys Forcats, the aesthetic line follows the ridge up the first tower. A class II move is required to down-climb and move on. If you don’t have ropes it is recommended to get around the second tower by the Spanish side, following a fairly exposed but gorgeous cornice.
The last difficulty of the face consists in a steep slab to get to the summit ridge. Just follow the cairns trying to stick to the left of the slab where the hand holds are obvious. Once at the top, you’re just meters away from the summit, with astonishing views on Medacorba’s South Face or the Estanys de Baiau!
